Hydrosol and floral water

Some people are asking, what are floral water / hydrosol for?

A more accurate name for floral water is hydrosol. It's the byproduct of the distillation process. So it has traces of EOs inside there.

From Aromatic Studies school notes:

Hydrosols have numerous benefits for the skin including:

🌹Serve as hydrating components in a product, e.g. cream, cleanser, etc.
🌹Effective toners
🌹Anti-inflammatory, cooling
🌹Great addition to gel based products
🌹Safe for infants and young children in baths (1-3 tbsp) or spritzers.
🌹Additive to full body or foot baths
🌹Water component to moisten clays
🌹Cooking
🌹Refreshing drinks (fill half a glass with hydrosol and half with sparkling/fizzy water. Yum!
