Aromatic Plant Species Mentioned in the Holy Qura’n and Ahadith and Their Ethnomedicinal Importance

In view of the importance of this study comprehensive detailed data was collected from Holy Quran, Ahadith`s books and books written on the Islamic medicines.

Present findings confined to 15 Aromatic plant species belonging to 14 genera of 10 families.

The plant species are: 

1. Acorus calamus L., 
2. Artemisia maritima L., 
3. Boswellia carterii Birdw., 
4. Boswellia serrata Birdw., 
5. Cinnamomum camphora L., 
6. Citrus spp., 
7. Commiphora molmol Engl. ex Tschirch, 
8. Crocus sativus L., 
9. Cymbopogon schoenanthus Spreng., 
10. Dryobalanops aromaticaGaertn. F., 
11. Lawsonia inermis L., 
12.Majorana hortensis Moench. Ocimum basilicum L., 
13.Origanum vulgare L. and Thymus serpyllum L. 

Results were systematically arranged by alphabetic order of botanical names followed by English name, Arabic name, family, parts used, medicinal uses and references cited from Holy Quran and Ahadith. 

The main aim of this study is to document the knowledge of ethno medicinal uses and create awareness about the Aromatic plant species mentioned in the Holy Quran and Ahadith for the welfare of human communities throughout the world.

This is how much toothpaste i use everytime i brush my teeth. No need to put along the toothbrush. That and a drop of orange.

I remember last saturday M A Salaam Jemain asked me what oil can be used when one has difficulty to sleep at night.

Well, Tranquil is one of the oils for that. It is a blend of Lavender, cedarwood and roman chamomile.

The Essential Oils that hard to finish

i wrote this in September when i was only using the oils for 4 months:-

I bought my everyday oil kit in May 2015. I gave samples to friends who needed it, gave some to my mom after her operation recently and use the oils at home forvarious reasons. After 4 months of consumptions, I am officially out of peppermint and frankincense. These oils come in 5ml bottle. Wow, 4 months. Jimat banget. If u use it only for your family, sure can last even longer.#yleo

Eliminating Body Odor with Toothpaste, how odd is that?

I cannot leave the house without deodorant. Been using it like forever. Past few months, i was having a bigger issue since i cannot stand my own smell. (Blame it in the hormone).

Alhamdulillah, i read in A Drop A Day group that Aromabright Toothpaste can also eliminate body odor. I was sceptical but i wont lose anything if i tried.

Now i am using the toothpaste for my teeth and also at the pit. Just to add freshness (not necessary), i also use the deodorant spray we blend ourselves.

My sporty and active teenage boy is also using this.
